Ross Whitby's Big Win in the Good for Cricket Raffle
When Ross Whitby came to Downtown Toyota to collect his brand new Toyota Corolla Cross GX, he was in for a surprise. Not only had he won a fantastic prize from this year's Good for Cricket Raffle with his very own Carina Cricket Club, but cricket star Marnus Labuschagne was also there to hand over the keys in person.
Community Spirit and Generosity at the Forefront
The Good for Cricket Raffle has been a cornerstone of support for grassroots cricket clubs across Australia. With 986 clubs participating this year, a stunning $1,013,670 was raised from 202,734 tickets sold. Ross, a dedicated member of the Carina Cricket Club, is a perfect example of the strong community bonds formed through these clubs.

Winning the Toyota Corolla Cross GX was a complete shock for our family, only matched by the surprise of meeting Marnus Labuschagne at Downtown Toyota to receive the keys. We've been part of the Carina Cricket Club for many years, enjoying incredible experiences, from meeting Australian cricketers to walking out on the field at the Gabba. But truly, nothing prepared us for the moment we won the car. It’s been a surreal joy and a testament to the wonderful community spirit at the club.
