Paws and Play: Downtown Toyota’s Delightful Day at Pups in the Park

The park was alive from 10 AM to 3 PM with a series of activities that entertained both pets and their owners, and our team was right there, enjoying every moment of it. As part of our ongoing #downtowndog campaign, we offered free puppy portraits, capturing beautiful moments for pet owners to cherish. Here are some special highlights and the delightful faces we photographed:

This past Sunday, Downtown Toyota proudly participated in the second annual "Pups in the Park" at Elanora Park, Wynnum. It was a fantastic day that not only celebrated our furry friends but also supported great causes—The Animal Welfare League QLD and the Bayside Community Fund. Participating in community events like this is a cornerstone of our commitment at Downtown Toyota because it connects us with real people and adds fun and uniqueness to our brand—because we’re different.

Kate and Toby

Kate and Toby

Our car care specialist, Kate, and her adorable Chihuahua, Toby, were among the stars of our puppy portrait session. Their bond and Toby’s spirited nature captured the hearts of everyone.

Naoise and Reggie

Naoise, our receptionist, brought her dachshund, Reggie, who sported a stylish hat. Their fashionable presentation was perfectly captured in their free portrait, adding to the day’s many delightful sights.

Mayja on Board

Mayja, one of our predelivery team drivers, brought her infectious enthusiasm to the event. Though her "big dog" (her horse) couldn't join, she sported a branded bandana and added energy to our #downtowndog campaign.

Fez Shines On

Vicki, our Assistant Service Manager and Mobile Service Manager, brought along her Siberian Husky, Fez. Known for his lush fur, Fez posed proudly in front of the CHR GR, making a perfect model for our showcase and the #downtowndog campaign.

We photographed nearly 50 dogs, each bringing their unique charm and joy to the park. These portraits not only added to the fun but also helped promote our #downtowndog campaign, creating lasting memories for participants and their beloved pets.

As we wrap up a successful day, we extend our heartfelt thanks to every participant, especially our Downtown Toyota team members who made this event even more special. Your enthusiasm and participation have truly made a difference.

We're already looking forward to next year's event and hope it continues to grow, bringing even more support to these vital causes. Follow us on Instagram @downtowntoyota_au to see more adorable and heartwarming moments from "Pups in the Park" and to keep up with the #downtowndog campaign.
