The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and organised Parts Interpreter to further develop their career. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Building customer relationships through superior customer service
• Supply and invoicing of parts to Trade, Service and Pre-Delivery departments
• Look to maximise part sales where possible
• Prepare and assist in annual stocktake
• Utilise manufacturer provided technical assistance.
• Conduct sales transactions with customers by telephone, internet, e-mail, and over the counter
• Assist in General Warehouse Operations

About You

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter an advantage
• Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting) industry experience desirable
• Able to work in a team environment and contribute in other roles
• Strong mechanical aptitude & knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a sound working relationship with guests, employees and stakeholders
• Ability to meet deadlines & carry out instructions as required in a timely manner
• Able to comply with manufacturer and dealership processes, policies and procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Used Recon Manager

Used Car Recon Specialist

We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified, detail-orientated Used Car Reconditioning Technician or technician Looking to step up to manage a small team. Working the no 1 automotive brand Toyota. Ideal candidates include but not limited to Workshop Foreman / Controllers or service Advisors with Technical backgrounds looking for a role with less guest interactions and a better work/life balance. 

The Goal is Complete high-quality vehicle reconditioning and maintenance as well as minor and major services if required

• Lead a team of technicians and apprentices to recondition up to 90 vehicles per month 
• Carry out vehicle road-worthy inspections and safety checks and repairs
• Ensure pre-owned vehicles are inspected and repaired in accordance with the reconditioning standards
• Determine and conduct diagnostics on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Perform other miscellaneous reconditioning and preparation tasks as needed
• Lead the reconditioning team to achieve KPI’s
• Manage subcontractors and achieve targets

Skills & Experience

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Knowledge and mechanical experience with a broad variety of makes and models
• Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and focused on getting the job done right the first time
• Organised, confident, and a clear communicator
• A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent
• A current Driver's License
• Experience in a dealership role is preferred but not essential
• Roadworthy license or experience with roadworthy inspections preferred
• Ac license would be advantages

About the Role 

Downtown Toyota has an opportunity available for an enthusiastic new staff member to prepare and present our new vehicles to the highest possible standard for our pre-delivery department in Lytton. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the presentation of multiple vehicles are in compliance with Toyota’s high Standards. Performing inspections and keeping accurate records of the vehicles condition & and movement of vehicles.  You may also be required to collect & drop off vehicles where needed.  A motor vehicle licence is essential along with a keen eye for detail.
