Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Used Cars
Toyota is committed to powering the future, and that means we design vehicles that go further and last for longer. The Toyota Certified Pre-Owned (TCPO) Vehicles program lets us give a second life to the quality pre-owned cars that make their way back to us. For Toyota customers, there’s no need to buy a brand new car to receive the reliability, perks and trouble-free motoring that we’ve been delivering for more than 60 years.
Only the best-used vehicles are eligible for the TCPO program. To qualify, a vehicle needs:
- A full-service history
- An independent CarHistory background check
- A comprehensive quality inspection by Toyota Technicians
- To be reconditioned by Toyota Technicians to our exacting standards
When you buy one of our TCPO cars, you’ll receive a statutory warranty, 1 year of Toyota Roadside Assist and standout financing options through Toyota Access. TCPO vehicles are also eligible for Toyota’s Guaranteed Future Value program, giving customers peace of mind and the flexibility to keep or upgrade their car once their Toyota Access finance comes to an end.
1 Year Warranty on Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles
The Australian heat and huge distances can put up a fight that would test any car, and that’s the environment that Toyota designs its cars to thrive in. The TCPO program is our way of providing peace of mind to Toyota owners and giving more Australians access to quality cars we stand behind.
We’re always looking to improve the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned program, and we are now introducing a 1 Year Warranty on select TCPO vehicles sold between 1 January, 2022 and 31 December, 2022. The 2022 Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty period begins:
- After the current, 5-year New Vehicle Warranty has expired (applies to cars that were delivered on or after 1 January, 2019, when our 5-year new car warranty came into effect), or;
- When your TCPO vehicle is delivered to you (applies to cars that were delivered to their original purchaser before January 1, 2019).
The warranty we offer on TCPO cars expires 12 months after it commences, at 160,000km, or 10 years after the car was delivered to its original purchaser, or whichever happens first.
Eligible Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Used Cars
It’s important to us that our customers drive away feeling safe and secure in their certified pre-owned vehicles. Only the best cars qualify for the TCPO program and the extended warranty. To receive the warranty, our TCPO cars must be:
- Manufactured in 2018 or later
- Under 160,000km on the clock
- Sold as a TCPO vehicle from 1 January, 2022 to 31 December, 2022
- Unmodified
- Properly maintained
- Not used for commercial purposes
- Treated with care
