For Brooke, success in automotive sales goes beyond numbers. It’s about making a genuine difference in people’s lives. "My secret sauce for success is that I get to be the difference in an industry that sometimes has a tarnished reputation," Brooke shares. "Many customers, especially young adults and the elderly, walk in expecting a pushy, 'dodgy used car dealer' experience. But at Downtown Toyota, I get to show them something completely different."
One of Brooke’s standout qualities is her commitment to making customers feel comfortable and informed. "I love helping customers make educated decisions. Whether it’s letting them take a car for an overnight test drive to make sure it fits their family’s needs or simply answering all their questions without any pressure, I want them to leave feeling confident," she explains.
Brooke’s journey with Downtown Toyota began 3.5 years ago, starting in the Service Centre before transitioning to sales. A decision she’s never looked back on. Growing up, Brooke was immersed in the world of sales, thanks to her father, who worked in the heavy machinery industry. "I spent countless hours in the car with Dad, listening to him on the phone with customers all over the world. Sales is almost second nature to me."
But Brooke's success isn’t just about her background. It’s also about her unwavering commitment to the Downtown Toyota team. "Working here is like being part of a family. I walk in every day knowing I’m surrounded by people I trust, who genuinely care about my success both personally and professionally."
Her approach to sales is refreshingly authentic. "I don’t just want to sell cars. I want to make a genuine impact on customers' lives. Whether it’s helping a grandparent ensure the car fits all the baby seats or a young driver making their first big purchase, I aim to make it a positive, memorable experience."

Brooke’s advice for anyone starting out in sales? "Absorb everything, but make it your own. Put yourself forward for opportunities, and never be afraid of failure. I’ve made mistakes, but every one of them taught me something valuable."
As for her future goals, Brooke is just getting started. "I want to continue growing with Downtown Toyota, gaining management experience, and helping maintain our reputation as a trustworthy dealership."
Outside of work, Brooke loves exploring Queensland’s natural beauty with her family and dogs, always finding new places to visit since moving to Brisbane in 2017.
