Downtown Toyota Uniforms Get a Second Life with Suited to Success

At Downtown Toyota, we believe in driving more than just vehicles, we’re driven by purpose, community, and the power to make meaningful change. That’s why we recently partnered with Suited to Success, a Brisbane-based not-for-profit that helps people overcome barriers to employment.

A Uniform Donation That Matters

As part of an internal uniform refresh with our new rebuild, we had the opportunity to donate both brand-new and gently used Downtown Toyota uniforms. The initiative was led by Danica from our Accounts Payable team, who was inspired by her own experience when starting out in Brisbane.

“When I first moved to Brisbane, I quickly discovered how costly it can be to dress professionally for a job interview,” says Danica. “I was lucky to have the support of friends and family to help me through that time, but I know not everyone has that kind of support. So, when the opportunity came to donate our brand-new uniforms, along with some gently used ones, I thought, what better way to make a difference for those who need it most?”

Suited to Success provides free styling sessions, career coaching, and support programs to individuals facing unemployment or financial hardship. Their services are designed to help people present their best selves, not just in interviews, but in life.

“I chose to support Suited to Success because of the incredible work they do,” Danica explains. “Their free services empower people to confidently enter the workforce, and they rely entirely on community support to make it happen. I’m proud to contribute to an organization that creates real change in people’s lives.”
