Mobile Service Technician

About The Position:

We have an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Service Technician to join our high performing team. You will be at the forefront of the automotive industry, promoting Australia's # 1 brand and working alongside strong leaders and a supportive team. As a Mobile Service Technician at Downtown Toyota, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering onsite / offsite servicing and repairs to vehicles, ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction and upholding our business reputation. We are seeking a qualified motor technician with at least 2 years of experience beyond apprenticeship, strong time management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

About You:

  • You are a qualified motor mechanic/technician
  • You have at least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience
  • You can service all makes and models
  • Previous experience in all makes and models preferred
  • Previous mobile service experience (preferred but not essential)
  • You have an open driver's license
  • You are motivated to meet financial targets
  • You work well under pressure and can work towards a deadline
  • You are skilled at minimizing re-work
  • You have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • You are accountable, with strong attention to detail
  • You adhere to safe work practices

As an accessory fitter, you'll be responsible for installing a wide range of products on the latest industry model vehicles. Whether you have an auto-electrical background or not, you'll be handling everything from safety beacons and electric brakes to trays and bull bars.

Your role is pivotal in creating the exceptional finished product that our loyal customers have come to expect from us. With no two days alike, you'll be at the forefront of preparing and delivering vehicles to some of Australia’s largest fleets.
